Who we are

Sialim (sialim.com) publishes model-based housing market forecasts. For privacy matters, contact privacy@sialim.com.

What we collect

The site itself requires no account and collects no personal data to browse. Three things can involve personal data: (1) analytics cookies, set only with your consent; (2) your email address, if you subscribe to the monthly forecast newsletter; (3) standard server logs kept by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security, which include IP addresses.

Cookies and consent

Essential storage (your consent choice) is always active. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, with IP anonymization) load only after you opt in through the consent banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2: before you choose, all analytics and advertising storage is denied by default. You can change your choice at any time via in the footer.

Subscribing sends your email address, via FormSubmit, to our inbox. We use it to send one monthly forecast email. We do not sell or share the list. Unsubscribe by replying to any email or writing to privacy@sialim.com.

EU/EEA residents (GDPR)

Our legal basis for analytics is consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); for the newsletter, consent; for server logs, legitimate interest in site security (Art. 6(1)(f)). You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port your data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell personal information for money. If analytics or future advertising cookies count as "sharing" under the CPRA, you can opt out with the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" toggle in the consent banner ( ). You also have rights to know, delete, and correct, and to non-discrimination for exercising them.

Third parties

Google Analytics (analytics, consent-gated); FormSubmit (newsletter delivery); Cloudflare (hosting, security logs). Partner links on metro pages are marked with rel="sponsored" and a disclosure; partners receive no data from us beyond your click.

Data retention

Consent choices live in your browser's localStorage until you clear them. Analytics data follows Google Analytics' standard 14-month retention. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
